Doping is the most negative phenomenon in modern sport , not only because it destroys the equality of race and endanger the health of athletes , but because ultimately discredited in the eyes of the world sport , a social and educational tool with tremendous impact.
The Olympic Athletic Center of Athens ‘ Spiros Louis ‘ scientific support for the Greek sport with many instruments, one of which is the Doping Control Laboratory , which belongs to the worldwide family of 33 Recognized by the World AntiDoping Agency (WADA) Laboratories .
The Laboratory Stadium founded in 1986 to provide integrated analytical doping control samples for national sports federations in Greece and abroad in athletes and horses .
The Government supports the function of guaranteeing the Laboratory for the use of the best analytical tech-nology for the staffing and administrative organization .
